Replacing your wax tablet

Your wax tablet absorbs dirt and grime from the inside of your chain. Over time, the wax tablet becomes saturated, reducing its optimal performance, increasing friction and chain wear.

Turn your heater upside down

Replacing it is simple. Ensure the tablet is fully cooled and hardened before starting. Place the heater upside down on a double sheet of kitchen paper, switch it on, and wait 30-60 seconds to hear the tablet drop out.

Time for a new tablet

Use another piece of kitchen paper to wipe down the inside of the heater. Insert a new tablet into the heater, and you’re done.
