Is it free?
Yes, the Cyclowax app is free. Download it, connect Strava and start tracking your chains at no cost.
Do I need Strava?
Yes. Our app uses your Strava rides to track the distance on each chain automatically, so your wax advice is always based on how you really ride. Connect once and you are set.
Do I need to add my bike to Strava?
Yes. Your wax advice is tied to the bike and the chain on it. Once your bike is on Strava, our app knows which chain is riding and how far, so it can tell you exactly when that chain is ready for a fresh wax.
How do I know when to wax?
The moment a chain is due, you'll get a notification , so you never have to guess when you need to wax.
Can I manage multiple chains?
Yes. Manage every chain in one place and see at a glance which one is ready and which one needs attention.
Do I have to use Cyclowax wax?
Our app works best with Cyclowax wax, because it knows the exact range of each tablet and sets your rewax point automatically.
What happens when I run out of wax?
Our app counts down the treatments left in your tablet and tells you before it runs low. When it is time, reorder the right wax in a few taps and swap in a fresh tablet.
How technical are the guides?
Not technical at all. The guides are made for every rider, with short videos and clear steps that walk you through the whole process, from your first wax to a chain that stays smooth and silent. No mechanic experience needed.
